The Frontier Adventure is a fun and exciting campout designed for boys and men who have completed the “Trail of the Grizzly.” The Frontier Adventure is the first campout in the Frontiersmen’s Camping Fellowship (FCF.) After attending the Frontier Adventure boys and men may wear the Frontiersmen pin. The Heartland Conference 2005 Frontier Adventure will be held at the Heartland Conference FCF Camping area provided by Commander Vernon Prough. A map is available on the HeartlandRR.org web site. Activities will begin Friday night and end Sunday afternoon. Each person will need to bring a cot and personal gear. Shelter and meals are included in the $20.00 cost for the camp. The following are the requirements for the trail to the Grizzly and must be completed before attending the Frontier Adventure.
Both Boys and Leaders· Earn the following Merit Awards: Rope craft, Fire craft, Cooking, Compass, Lashing, Camping, First Aid skills, and Tool craft. · Explain the meaning of the Four Red, Four Gold, and Eight Blue points of the RR emblem. · Explain the plan of Salvation

Both Leaders and Boys· After earning all eight required merits you have earned the Grizzly Trail FCF Merit Award. You are now eligible for the “Frontier Adventure.” After successful completion, you will receive your Frontiersmen Pin. |
Boys Only· Be at least 11 years old and at least an Adventure Ranger. · Be recommended by the Outpost Commander. |
Leaders Only· Complete the RR Basics Module of the LTA. · Be a RR leader in good standing with his church. |
